Former Councillor of Ward 14, Thembeni Khoza, has voiced serious concerns regarding the safety and whereabouts of one of her campaign agents, Nothoyethu Ndlovu.

Former Ward 14 Councillor, Thembeni Khoza, has voiced serious concerns about the safety and whereabouts of her campaign agent, Nothoyethu Ndlovu.

Ndlovu, a former Zanu PF member who joined the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), was actively campaigning for Khoza during the 2022 council elections in Ward 14.

Khoza revealed that she was informed by Ndlovu’s father, who had been told by his daughter-in-law, Nozipho Mhlope, that the family was attacked by four Zanu PF supporters around midnight before Ndlovu’s disappearance.

“They reportedly demanded files and a USB they claimed belonged to Zanu PF before forcefully taking him away,” Khoza said.

The assailants accused Ndlovu of stealing party secrets and leaking them to Khoza and other CCC members.

After learning about the incident, Khoza visited the couple’s residence and discovered that Ndlovu’s wife, Nozipho Mhlope and children had also disappeared.

She expressed deep concern over the wife’s disappearance, stating, “Her whereabouts remain unknown, and this is a serious concern for the party.”

Khoza reported the matter to the police on February 2 and has since spoken to the press on behalf of the CCC, urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure the safety of those involved.
