FORMER JP BAND MEMBER CAUGHT UP IN DRUG STORM

A FORMER member of Jah Prayzah’s band, Elvis “Congobileko” Chinounda, has been caught up in a drug storm.

Congobileko worked for Jah Prayzah’s band from 2010 until he was dropped 10 years later during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Since then, the dancer has hit hard times and went public seeking help but to no avail.

A source told H-Metro that the dancer has found unorthodox means of survival and is part of a syndicate that is selling drugs.

Reports have suggested that his wife deserted him last year due to his drug-abuse tendencies.

Congobileko, who stays in Glen View 3, is believed to be exposing the harmful drugs and substances to kids.

“He is putting the youngsters in danger as he is now selling guka to the youths.

“He is part of a syndicate that is operating in the area and a lot of damage is being done.

“We know cases of many people who have been now affected after taking their drugs.

“He is also selling drugs to a girl who is now losing her mind,” said the source.

Added the source:

“We are appealing to the responsible authorities to help us to eradicate this drugs cancer.

“He is a guy who was a goodwill ambassador in the community but he now looks a completely changed person.

“I think all changed after he left Jah Prayzah’s band.”
