Four Liverpool players named in Ballon d’Or top 10

Four Liverpool players have been named in the top 10 of the Ballon d’Or after their Champions League success and sensational form over the past 12 months.

Alisson, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk are all confirmed in the top 10 after the first 20 names were revealed yesterday afternoon. 

Liverpool lifted the Champions League in June and currently sit eight points clear at the top of the Premier League and their star men were set to be honoured for their performances over the past 12 months on late yesterday night.
