Deputy of Minister of Mines and Mining Development Cde Fred Moyo has been booted out of the Zanu-PF Midlands provincial executive following a vote of no confidence that was passed on Sunday.
Cde Moyo was the Midlands deputy secretary for Education.
“Cde Moyo was running a parallel structure and he was also among the people undermining the authority of the President (Mugabe).
“He was always telling people that he only takes instructions from Vice President Mujuru because she is the one who appointed him.
“He was not attending meetings at the province, including leadership meetings. He was also close to Cde Rugare Gumbo who was expelled from the party. Just a few days ago, some members of his faction, Cdes Francis Nhema and Flora Buka failed to make it to the Central Committee,” said Cde Lewis Matutu.
