Freed to enjoy freedom

Galatians 5:1; Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

My friend, stand. Don’t think otherwise, you’re in Christ by God’s grace. You stay and live in this grace. That’s where we find you. Let your mind and faculties remain put.

You have been saved, delivered and redeemed by the blood of Jesus based on the grace of God not your works and self-effort. Please don’t shake and don’t tremble.

The grace of God has placed us into liberty. We’re free. Christ has completely liberated us. Colossians 2:14 tells us, “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.” He did it perfectly well.

We don’t entertain thoughts of returning to the bondage from which we were freed. Dear friend, don’t revert to righteousness by works. Your righteousness is in Christ.

We’re in the spirit and circumcised in the spirit, Philippians 3:3, “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh.”

We have since moved from works of the flesh. We were freed to enjoy freedom not to suffer in bondage.

Your prayer: Father I thank you for calling me to liberty by your mercy and grace.

Thank you for empowering me to stand firm with a clear conscience that I am free. I look not at myself, but unto Christ who has freed me and I don’t return to the bondage of law. In Jesus’ name I am free.

Your Confessions: I stand in the grace of God. I don’t doubt, shake or tremble. I am free and I pursue my dreams with a clear mind. I don’t carry any load of religious perfection. I am victorious.
