LEADING Zimdancehall chanter Freeman is brimming with confidence that his inaugural HKD Festival at Alex Sports Club, on October 26, will be one of the biggest musical shows ever held in this country.

He is billed to share the stage with man-of-the-moment Master H, Holy Ten, Voltz  JT, Poptan, Delroy Shewe, Takura, Tamy Moyo, Nutty O, Seh Calaz, Nyasha David and Bazooker.

The venue has become something like his ‘home ground’ where his shows have attracted their biggest number of fans.

He also plays his social football games at the same club.

“The event promises to be an unforgettable experience for music lovers who should look forward to a mouthwatering line-up of performers.

“This is going to be one of the most memorable events ever and to every HKD family member, be part of the proceedings, we are all geared for the festival,” said Freeman.

He is hoping a huge crowd will turn up in support of his initiative.

“I’m just hoping fans will turn out in big numbers as we launch the festival.

“I know the concept is still new and people might be skeptical but I promise each one of them that this is going to be worth attending, it’s going to be massive.

“We hope to make this an annual event and I am pleading with the fans to believe in me as we make it a successful event,” he said.

Freeman has been promoting the event through various media channels.

“Time waits for no man, I am going to hand out fliers and put out posters on my own to show how dedicated I am about this festival.

“Hapana nguva yekutamba festivhari irikuda kushanda ndakunonamira ndega.

“The HKD Band has been rehearsing day and night to make sure the show is a success.

‘I urge all my fans to come in their numbers because l promise you this is going to be the biggest show to ever come out of Zimbabwe,” he added.
