French federation calls off Cup draw

The draw for the next round of the French Cup has been postponed due to the Paris attacks, the French Football Federation (FFF) said on Sunday.
The draw for the eighth round which was due to take place today after the seventh round programme, scheduled to be played last weekend, was called off after Friday’s attacks which left 129 people dead.

The seventh round is the first in which clubs from the French second division Ligue 2 enter the fray.
Top flight Ligue 1 clubs don’t join in until after the completion of the eighth round, which is due to be played on December 5-6. — AFP
