SUDDEN Dambuza, a 34-year-old former NUST student, who pursued his study in Forest Resources and Wildlife Management and graduated in 2015, has somehow managed to balance his academic pursuits with his passion for religious literature, writing seven books that he has published.
Dambuza said he diverted from what he studied at tertiary level because he had a calling of following on God’s call, which is ministering the Gospel of the Kingdom to as many souls as He allows me to reach.
“I have been able to write and publish seven books which are namely, Psalm 23, How to Pray, Spiritual States of the Church, Road Maps, The Revolution, Storm Navigation, and How to navigate through Relationships,” said Dambuza.
Born in a family of five, raised by a single parent in Chirumanzu, Dambuza has been able to accomplish a lot in his name and established his voice in the writing industry and managed to sell hundreds of copies.
Besides being an author, Dambuza is also a Publisher under the MN Publishers and he has helped other authors, editing their work and also assisting them to get published.
“I have worked on projects for renowned and aspiring authors from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Malawi and Swaziland. As a publisher I have edited and proofread author’s work until their voices are fine-tuned and amplified so that their messages would be clear to the readers,” he said.
In his professional capacity, Dambuza started off his career as a Junior Forester, at the Wattle Company in Chimanimani. A man who is in tune with his surroundings, Dambuza said he appreciates everything that is natural. Dambuza said he has a part of his heart that is in Bulawayo and hence recently did another book tour in the city.
On September 23, Dambuza hosted a book signing which had a reasonable turn out as his friends and associates came out to support. The book signing was mainly for the book series which comprises of Storm Navigation and How to Navigate Through Relationships.
