Fugitive killer suspect in court

Joseph Dzipe, who has been on the run for allegedly teaming up with Masendeke brothers Nelson and Ernest Timothy to murder the latter’s rival suitor, has appeared before a Kwekwe magistrate facing murder charges. Dzipe (28) was remanded in custody to June 20 by Mr Storey Rushambwa for the murder of Happison Mashaba whom they had caught in the house of Ernest’s girlfriend Cynthia Mhlanga.

Mr Rushambwa advised him to apply for bail at the High Court.
Ernest was arrested two days after the case and is out on bail while his younger brother Nelson is still at large.
The State alleges that on April 12, at around 3.30am, Dzipe of 13 B Usayi, Kadoma, was in company of the two Masendeke brothers when they visited Mhlanga at her house in Mbizo.

Ernest, switched on the lights and began searching the house and saw Mashaba who was hiding under the bed and teamed up with his colleagues to assault him. — Herald Reporter.
