GOSPEL musician Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave will be the headline act at this year’s edition of the Ezekiel Guti Legacy Awards and concert that will be held on Saturday at Braeside Christian Centre in Harare.
The Ezekiel Guti Legacy Awards are held every year to honour outstanding people, including musicians from ZAOGA FIF Church.
They are held on Ezekiel Guti Day, 5 May, the day the late national hero Archbishop Dr Guti was born.
ZAOGA FIF secretary-general, Apostle Mishael Nyambo said the Ezekiel Guti Legacy awards and concert were created to continue the legacy of the late Dr Guti.
Apostle Nyambo said this year they have gone all out to honour outstanding musicians, people and churches that have made a huge impact on communities.

“We hold these awards and concerts every year because our late father, Archbishop Dr Guti, worked so hard to impact the lives of many people from across the world, so we are continuing with his legacy.
“This year we are going to hold a big concert featuring musicians such as Fungisai, Sir Benjamin Rupapa, Sabastian Magacha, Pastor Haisa, Fifi Sibanda from the United Kingdom and many others,” he said.
The Ezekiel Guti Day will start with a walkathon and half-marathon that will be held at Grange Christian School.
