FUZ donates to Warriors

THE Footballers Union of Zimbabwe have added cheer to the Warriors camp ahead of their departure to Rwanda for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches after donating an assortment of travelling goodies.

The organisation, led by former Zimbabwe international and ex-Dynamos captain Desmond Maringwa, handed over the gear to the ZIFA Normalisation Committee today.

“The Zimbabwe Football Association is grateful to the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ) for their donation of traveling gear to the Warriors which includes t-shirts and rain jackets.

“This donation is a sign of the strong partnership between the two organizations,” said ZIFA in a statement.

ZIFA normalisation committee member and the former Mighty Warriors captain Rosemary Mugadza, who received the donation from FUZ Zimbabwe, expressed her delight.

She said: “We are grateful for the donation that we have received from FUZ. Thank you for coming on board, we appreciate this gesture. Let’s keep the partnership growing each and every year. We plead with the corporate world to come and partner ZIFA in this journey.”
