Gain Cash and Carry on Friday conducted the final draw of its Zvirimubhokisi/Okusebhokisini Promotion, awarding 27 winners nationwide after a festive-season campaign that attracted more than two million entries.

The third edition of the promotion, which ran from November 13 to December 31, 2025, drew more than two million entries from shoppers at Gain’s 90 branches nationwide.

It offered prizes including 17 Master T35 trucks, eight Nissan NV200 vehicles, solar kits and poultry packages. Weekly draws also produced nearly 1 000 winners of US$50 shopping vouchers.

Winners were selected through both manual and electronic systems, with names displayed on screens for public verification.

Speaking in an interview at the event, Gain Cash and Carry marketing manager, Mr Carl Kusada, highlighted the strategic importance of the promotion, emphasising its role in driving customer loyalty, sales growth and branch expansion.

He emphasised that promotions like these have fueled expansion, allowing the company to grow from 30 branches to over 90, with new outlets opening in Karoi and Mutare.

He noted that the company’s long-term goal is to ensure that each branch eventually has its own prize pool, thereby spreading opportunities more evenly across the country.

“Promotions like this bring more customers, more sales and allow us to extend into new areas,” he said.

He said that the company invested half a million in the campaign and plans to increase that figure in future editions.
