High quality sound transforms music fiesta

managed.
It was the first time that a state-of-the-art PA system was unveiled courtesy of Hard Sounds as well as the stage and lighting from L&L Stage company which had not been seen at any of the galas. The 32-piece mid-high array of speakers supported by the LAB Gruppen amplifiers produced quality sound while the colourful stage brought out the best from the artistes.

Even poet Magura Charumbira who recited his poem “Nyuchi Dzegonera Dzopenegurwa NaRevai” could be heard several kilometres away from venue.
According to Ephraim Rateyiwa, an engineer with Hard Sounds, the sound quality at the gala was perfect and the new PA system was appropriate for the event.

“The gala was well attended with over 20 000 people at the concert so that means sound could have been a challenge but the sound was perfect.
“Our engineers Lucky Jojo and Pacival Mukuchura did a splendid job in ensuring that ZBC-TV got the perfect sound. This was an initiative by the Ministry of Media, Information and Publicity,” Rateyiwa said.

Major Anywhere Mutambudzi, who was in charge of the gala, was happy that the PA system was of high quality.
“The PA system that we have used this time is the latest and the sound is perfect and this is what you should expect in future,” he said.

The power-packed gala saw musicians Alick Macheso, Tongai Moyo, Somandla Ndebele, Tanga WekwaSando, Gift Amuli, Pengaudzoke among others taking music lovers on an unforgettable journey in memory of the gallant sons and daughters of Zimbabwe.
