A LACKLUSTER first half in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter between Chicken Inn and Ngezi Platinum Stars has come to an end at Luveve Stadium.
None of the two sides managed to create any clear cut chances with only one shot on target in the first 45 minutes.

Ngezi Platinum Stars managed to create two corner kicks inside the first five minutes.
In their second attempt, McDonald Eddisone, jumped the highest but his headed effort went over the bar.
Moments later, Leslie Kashitigu attempted a long range shot, despite Obriel Chirinda unmarked on the left side, which went over the bar.

Chicken Inn got their first shot at goal in the 10th minute when George Majika’s effort from the edge of the box missed the upright.
Chicken Inn were forced to make an early change after midfielder Joseph Tulani was stretchered off the field with an ankle injury. He was replaced by Brendon Rendo.

The first shot on target in the first stanza came in the 36th minute through Malvin Gaki who dribbled past Dominic Jaricha outside the box before unleashing a curling shot which Donovan Bernard punched away for a corner kick.
Moments later, Rendo would dribble past a couple of Ngezi Platinum defenders but his cross was met with a poor Brighton Makopa header.
