A GARDENER at Zim Care Trust is being accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a mentally challenged woman.
Victor Luwaka, 46, allegedly took advantage of the woman during her daily trips to work.
Allegations are that Victor first lured the woman to a secluded area near Jairosi Jiri Southerton, where he sexually abused her, in January last year.
The woman did not disclose the incident to anyone. She was abused again in October last year.
He allegedly continued to exploit the vulnerability of the woman.
Last week, Victor was allegedly caught in the act by other employees and they reported the case to their manager Zambuko Chikomborero.
The woman then found the courage to disclose the abuse to her parents.
However, Victor has since disappeared and remains at large.
Authorities have been informed and the case is under investigation at Mbare Police Station under reference number RRB 6651868.
Efforts to get comment from the police were unsuccessful.
