Gasa welcomes rapturous reception

SUNGURA musician, Romeo Gasa, has welcomed the rapturous reception he received from fans at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International last night after touching down from the United Kingdom.
Gasa left Harare last December to be with his wife who is working abroad.

Speaking to The Herald Arts after his arrival, Gasa said he was happy to be back home.

“I felt so special that I was received by more than 30 people.

“Tamlink Auctions boss Tapfumanei Chikanya, his wife and staff. Musician Jah Lemy was there with his band members,” he said.

The 2007 Chibuku Road To Fame winner has lined up a series of homecoming shows this weekend.

Gasa boasts of successful albums that include “Sungura Compressor”, “Bho Zvekuti”, “Simbi Hombe”, “Pin Code”, and “Phone Yababa Imhiripiri”, among others.
