ZIMBABWE senior netball team, the Gems have maintained position 13 on the World Netball rankings.

This latest update takes into consideration results from all international matches played since March 1 up to June 1, 2025.

Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica , England, South Africa, Wales, Uganda, Malawi, Tonga, Scotland, Trinidad and Tobago and Northern Ireland occupy the first up to the 12th positions respectively.

“We are happy that we managed to maintain the position, it shows that we are not bad as a netball playing nation,” said Mutsauki.

“The good thing is that we did not drop from our position so our major focus now will be working hard to improve and move up from there.”

The biggest jump in the table comes from the Isle of Man, who have moved up five places to position 31 in the table, having won three out of their last five matches.

The next WN World Ranking update after this will take place in September, and will be used to determine the 12 teams that will be invited to compete in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

This update also sees Northern Ireland and Gibraltar increase their rating, with Northern Ireland winning their last two matches, and Gibraltar winning all four of theirs.

With Northern Ireland seated on position 12 and Gibraltar on number 27, both teams’ rankings remain the same despite a marked increase in their ratings.

Malta have moved up two places to 38th, after winning two of their last four matches.

France on the other hand, who joined the WN rankings for the first time in July, 2024, have dropped from position 31 to 39 after losing four of their last five games.
