FORMER Generations actress, Dineo (real name Katlego Danke) and Rhythm City’s Zintle Ncipa are expected in Bulawayo today, as they are billed to make guest appearances at Victory Fellowship Church’s theatre night.

Victory Theatre productions director Tshepo Dube said the actresses were expected to jet into the city today for the shows being held at the church.

“We’re expecting the two South African actresses in the City of Kings tomorrow (today) for the shows. We met the actresses during one of our shows and they loved the quality of our work. They became interested in us as a theatre group, hence their acceptance to attend our theatre night,” Dube said.

The production will see various musicians from local groups sharing the stage in two musical plays titled The First Christmas and For Better For Worse.

Danke nurtured her acting career in the Backstage soapie, 360 Degrees and a number of television commercials. Her biggest breakthrough was with Generations where she grew into a fully-fledged actress, playing Dineo, a successful businesswoman.
