Get off my property, mum orders son

A SUNNINGDALE woman yesterday pleaded with the Harare Civil Court to help her evict her son.

She accuses him of disturbing her peace.

Angeline Chapu approached the court seeking a protection order against her son, Emmanuel Chigumira.

She claimed he had been verbally and emotionally abusing her.

Chapu told the court that she wants peace and this can only be achieved if Chigumira leaves her house.

“I do not want him at my place anymore. He has been disturbing my peace,” she said.

Chigumira did not oppose his mother’s application.

Magistrate Sharon Mashavire granted her the protection order by consent.
