Getbucks embarks on expansion drive

Getbucks Financial Services (Private) Limited has started its expansion by opening new branches in the capital, a move set to address liquidity constraints in the country. Getbucks is a Fintech company that provides financial services to consumers through technology, and has been in operation in Zimbabwe since September 2012.

“Getbucks is excited to unveil our new head office situated at Shop No. 5, MIPF Building, Central Avenue (next to Metropolitan Bank).
“This expansion initiative is going to address an array of financial issues currently affecting a lot of people,” said Getbucks country manager Mr Gerrie Fourie.
Getbucks is part of a larger group which started in 2011, and operating in seven Sub-Saharan African countries, as well as an emerging presence in Europe.

Mr Fourie said “We are really excited to unveil our local new head office which signifies a big step forward for Getbucks in its footprint here in Zimbabwe.
“Not only does it align with the group’s position on strengthening operations in Zimbabwe, but it has also been designed to be a much larger, impactful and convenient branch for customers.”

Getbucks provides micro-finance to customers within a 15-branch network across Zimbabwe.
In line with its technological focus, Getbucks is pushing for the establishment of increased online activity within its customer base, to help enhance the overall experience for the customer by cutting down waiting time and simplifying the process.
