training.
Espanyol’s Wakaso, fellow striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and midfielder Anthony Annan took part in full-scale training with the rest of the squad.
Wakaso missed his team’s final group match against Niger because of a one-match ban while also nursing a sore knee, and Boakye-Yiadom and Annan have been on the treatment table for some time.
Annan aggravated an ankle injury in his team’s opening game against the Democratic Republic of Congo, while Boakye-Yiadom has yet to feature at this tournament due to an ankle injury suffered during a training camp in Abu Dhabi.
Wakaso scored the match-winning penalty against closest rivals Mali to set up the Black Stars to finish top of Group B in this Indian Ocean city. — AFP.
