FORT Rixon women are still reeling in shock after a police sergeant allegedly turned their once-safe compound into a house of horrors by parading his giant manhood like a grotesque trophy.

Sergeant-Major Richard Ndokanga, stationed at Fort Rixon, appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Takudzwa Gwazemba seeking bail, but his hopes were crushed. The court ruled that the officer, accused of five counts of public indecent assault, would remain in custody until 22 September.

The State, represented by Josephine Gurazhira, argued that Ndokanga was a danger to society and might tamper with witnesses since he lives in the same compound. “The victims are traumatised and still living in fear,” said Gurazhira. She also warned that the officer could flee given the seriousness of the charges.

His lawyer insisted that Ndokanga was a disciplined officer who would relocate to Gweru until trial. “He is not a flight risk and will not interfere with State witnesses,” the defence argued.

However, the women’s chilling testimonies left the courtroom in disbelief and sealed his fate. One victim said the sergeant’s manhood was so huge “it looked like a botched enlargement experiment.”

Another said she could never look at a man in uniform again. “He should be jailed for a long time. I still have nightmares about what I saw,” she said through tears.

According to court papers, Ndokanga’s alleged spree began on 17 September around 1PM when he stormed into Sithokozile Lusinga’s home, demanded entry to her bedroom, and when refused, grabbed her breasts before strolling away.

The next day, he reportedly targeted Cathrine Moyo, asking for a bar of soap, then bursting into her bedroom moments later to flash his manhood. Moyo’s scream sent neighbours running.

That same day, he allegedly pressed his “angry manhood” against Privilege Sibanda at a local bar before fleeing. Later, he entered Lindiwe Siziba’s bedroom, stripped, and waved his privates around. His final act came at Musawenkosi Sibanda’s house, where he allegedly stripped completely naked, saying he wanted to show her “how big it was.”

The magistrate denied bail, saying the allegations painted a picture of a predator hiding behind a badge.
