Sports Reporter
ACTION in the basketball league continues this weekend at the Bulawayo Club for the Disabled (BCD) with table toppers Oilers facing Giants in a men’s tie tonight.

Oilers toppled Giants from the top of the league table last weekend after they dismissed City Knights 59-50 and will be hoping to maintain their form in tonight’s game.

Oilers lead the table with eight points while second placed Giants sit on six points. If Giants win this encounter, they will return to the top of the log.

Lupane State University will be hoping to recover from last week’s 23-93 drabbing by Highlanders when they take to the court against defending champions Southern Mavericks.

In the women’s league, Southern mavericks will be looking for maximum points against struggling LSU. The table toppers clobbered Highlanders 107-15.

Fixtures
Women: S. Mavericks v LSU, Lakers Jnrs v Nust, Angels v Lakers Snrs
