The ex-Manchester United ace, 43, treated Emmerdale star Gemma, 32, to a meal at George’s Dining Room and Bar in Manchester.
Their date came as it emerged he was battling ex Stacey (38) over the financial details of their divorce.
An onlooker said Ryan did not appear to be letting his problems get him down.
He said: “Gemma was wearing an elegant strappy top on with her hair put up and Ryan seemed very impressed.
“He kept sneaking glances at her.
“He looked like he was enjoying himself, certainly not a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders.
“There was definitely a spark there. They gave each other their undivided attention, and kept leaning across the table to get closer.” – The Sun.
