THE late popular comedian Lazarus Boora’s son, Taurai “Gringaldinho” Boora, recently launched his debut drama series titled ‘‘Chatikobo Comes To Town.’’

The 28-year-old entertainer also took the opportunity to celebrate his birthday.

He featured seasoned actor, Blessing “Mbudziyadhura” Chimhohwa and Chati Butao in the drama series.

“I just want to thank God that our launch was successful,” said Taurai.

“The support from people came as a surprise, I thought only a few people would attend.

“We are expecting to upgrade our skits from the previous ones.”

Taurai said he started acting when he was in Grade Five as he drew inspiration from his late father.

The youngster said he was happy to work with Mbudziyadhura.

“I am so happy that Mbudziyadhura and Chati are part of the Pwaakaa journey and am learning a lot from them.

“It is very hard to find people who are talented and dedicated,” he said.

Baba Shupi and Jonah Chivasa performed at the launch.
