his children.

Robson Mutahwani (36), who lives at Retreat Farm in Waterfalls, pleaded not guilty to rape when he appeared before regional magistrate Mr Daniel Shonhiwa.
He was remanded in custody to September 27.
Mutahwani was advised to apply for bail at the High Court. Prosecutor Mr Valery Ngoma told the court that on September 5 this year around 7pm, Mutahwani came home and found his sister-in-law preparing supper.

It is alleged that after supper, they all went to bed and the girl slept on the floor with Mutahwani’s three children.
The court heard that Mutahwani slept on the bed in the same room.
It is further alleged that as they were sleeping, Mutahwani sneaked into the girl’s blankets and raped her.

The girl screamed, but Mutahwani muffled her screams.
The court heard that the accused’s children woke up after they heard the screaming and when he realised the children were awake he stopped.
The girl later revealed the rape to her sister and a report was made leading to Mutahwani’s arrest.
