Pelinance Dokora was the first to score a try in the fifth minute and then Coreen Muchabaiwa also touched down to give the Harare side a flying start.
By halftime Girls High were leading 20-0.
Eaglesvale came back a transformed side in the second half and managed to score a try through Lindiwe Munerenyu, who was arguably their best player on the field.
But Girls High also showed they were a class apart and Vongai Taranhike scored three tries.
Moneni Tavazira fired a conversion and Lilian Nyakanyaka then scored their last try to make it 32-5.
Girls High fullback, Nonkosi Dingani, said they were hoping to maintain their fine start as they are looking to retain their title.
“We enjoyed our first match, it was very easy, we thought Eaglesvale were going to give us a big challenge but we were just too good for them.
“We wanted to beat them by about 100 points and in our following games we are going to score many tries.
“I am sure we are going to retain our title because we have been training hard.
“We believe in ourselves and hard work will reap the rewards for us,” said Dingani.
Vainona also had a good start when they defeated Roosevelt 46-0.
Royal College managed to draw 0-0 against the Goromonzi Girls who appeared bigger in size.
