Glorious Worship redeems lost souls

PRAISE and worship duo, Glorious Worship, are destined for stars.

Co-directed by the duo of Vimbai Zirebwa and Namibia-based songbird Mutsa Murairwa, the siblings have finally unveiled their debut album titled ‘‘Tokudza Ishe.’’

Recorded at Monolio Studios, the duo, which has been singing in church for years, has finally decided to record and launch their debut album.

Laden with spiritually-uplifting songs like Anokomborera, Anomira Neni, Kubata Kwenyu, Ndotizira Kwamuri, Wakaita SaJesu and the title track Tokudza Ishe, the album is set to redeem lost souls.

However, it should be mentioned that the two sisters, who honed their skills as praise and worship singers at Christian Healing Ministries, are versatile and yet humble.

Their versatility was shown after producing quality visuals for two songs, courtesy of Brighton Magaya of Laktam Studios.

The duo’s accompanying videos Tinokudza Ishe and Ndinotizira Kwamuri have since been endorsed as a success.

Magaya, who has been working with the duo since 2019, said it has been a great experience.

“I have done their videos and I can tell you I have never had challenges with the pair because of their work ethic.

“The sisters are professionals and I also learnt something when we shot their videos, especially a few tricks, on the production side.

“In this industry, you can’t know everything but you need to learn from others,” he said.

Added Magaya: “I will continue engaging them or future projects because they are really committed to their work.

“Besides talent, the sisters are real professionals, which I hope is a plus for them, as they start their new journey.”

In another interview, Vimbai said they were ready to make their presence felt after years of singing in church conferences.

“There is always time for everything but we are happy that we have finally recorded  and released our music.

“We could have announced our arrival on the music scene but Covid-19 derailed our efforts since my sister was in Namibia.

“The travel restrictions badly affected us but we are happy that everything is now falling into place,” she said.

She also hailed their fans and sponsors who have been there for them from day one.
