THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Week Six fixtures saw a total of 24 goals, bringing the season’s tally to 104. 

Four wins, two away triumphs, and two draws were recorded, with four home wins by Simba Bhora, Chegutu Pirates, Chicken Inn and Bikita Minerals. 

Last season’s first runners-up Manica Diamonds and Yadah Stars managed to register away victories. 

Fourteen home goals were scored, with six outfits scoring a total of 10 goals away from their bases. 

Highlanders remain on top of the log standings on 14 points, with Simba Bhora in second on 13 points, while former champions FC Platinum are on 11 points. 

Bosso striker Lynoth Chikuhwa got his fourth goal of the season in their 1-1draw against champions Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Free spending Simba Bhora edged Dynamos 1-0 in Shamva, while Chegutu Pirates beat Hwange 1-0 and Bikita Minerals dismissed Bulawayo Chiefs 2-0 before Chicken Inn saw off Greenfuel 2-1.

Manica Diamonds and Yadah Stars managed victories away from home. 

Manica beat Herentals 2-1 and Yadah Stars squeezed a 3-2 win over PSL returnees TelOne.

Highlanders, Hwange, ZPC Kariba, FC Platinum, Yadah Stars and Manica Diamonds scored 10 goals away from their bases. 

Despite registering their first win of the season after defeating TelOne, Yadah Stars need to up their game to avoid relegation.

Yadah Stars are in the same bracket with Chegutu Pirates, Herentals and Hwange, among other clubs, which have so far found the going tough.
