“NOW to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” — Ephesians 3: 20-21.
Do not limit God.
He is able to do abundantly above all that we think or imagine.
Thus, He can go beyond your expectations. _ is year, do not limit God.
We usually ask from God with a “can He?” mentality. Let us discard that mentality — God can.
We ask of God with our specific ends in mind. This situation is much of “can He solve it?” Yes, He can, and even go beyond!
Can He heal this disease?
Yes, He can; as the woman with the flow of blood for 12 years bore witness.
He can wipe away those tears that keep running down your cheeks.
He can heal that broken heart.
He can give you solutions to your longstanding problems.
God can go beyond your expectation.
The story of Zacchaeus shows us that, indeed, God can exceed expectations.
The short man sought to just see Jesus, and nothing more.
When Jesus came to the tree where Zacchaeus was, He looked up and said: “Zacchaeus, come down! Today I am going to eat with you at your place.” — Luke 19:5
In other words, He was telling Zacchaeus that you only wanted to see just how I look, but I am going beyond your expectation and spending the day with you.
You have been believing for some time and still have not seen anything come to pass. You are like Hannah.
She was distraught and upset.
She knew God put the desire in her heart for a child. She went to the temple, prayed and made a vow to the Lord. The priest came over and promised her a son.
Nine months later, she conceived. This could be the end of the story, but the Bible says Hannah bore three more sons and two more daughters. The Lord exceeded her expectations.
He was so good to Hannah because of her faith.
What you are praying for may not have happened yet but our God is faithful.
God is not finished with you.
What you must know is that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
“Haasi mutsauri wevanhu.”
What He did to Hannah, He can do to you.
God is planning to exceed your expectations.
