AS we reflect on the year 2023, we give thanks to God for His grace.
The Bible, in Psalm 136:1, tells us: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
Through the ups and downs of life, we can take comfort in knowing that God is always with us and He has a plan for our lives.
This year, we saw God’s faithfulness in many ways.
As 2023 comes to a close, we look back on a year that has been filled with both challenges and blessings. But through it all, one thing that has remained constant is God’s faithfulness.
Whether we have experienced personal hardships or corporate successes, God has been with us every step of the way.
Let us approach 2024 with the biblical truth that underpins our faith — the truth that God knows the plans He has for us; plans to prosper us and not to harm us; plans to give us hope and a future.
God will meet all our needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Have Psalm 91:4 in mind, which tells us: “He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
Personally, I have seen God’s hand at work in my life in many ways.
Indeed, He has been my shield. He has been my Shepherd, and fought many battles for me. He has given me strength in difficult times and brought new opportunities my way.
I am truly grateful for all He has done.
He has been Jehovah Jireh, providing in times of need. I have experienced miraculous provisions.
Let us be thankful for His blessings.
As we look into the future, let us hold fast onto our faith and remember that God is always with us.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He changes not.
