Bulawayo’s premier lifestyle event, Garden of House (GOH), is set to take its signature sounds beyond the City of Kings, with shows lined up for Harare, Victoria Falls and even Kenya.

Organised by Bulawayo Exclusive Events, GOH has grown significantly over the years, cementing its status as a cornerstone of the city’s arts and entertainment scene. This year marks the first time the event will expand outside Bulawayo, with confirmed shows in Harare on November 2 and Bulawayo on December 24, while dates for the Victoria Falls and Kenya editions will be announced soon.

Linda Mpofu, spokesperson for GOH, said the expansion aligns with the movement’s mission to showcase Zimbabwean talent to wider audiences.

“The GOH Tour is more than just a series of events — it’s a cultural movement designed to position Zimbabwe as a hub of talent, innovation and artistic expression. At its core, it highlights local DJs and producers, giving them the platforms and exposure they deserve beyond their hometowns,” Mpofu said.

While known for Afro-tech and deep house, GOH is now evolving into a complete lifestyle experience. Fashion, a longstanding element of the event, will take centre stage, showcasing local designers and creative brands alongside the music.

“By taking their artistry on tour, we’re creating opportunities for Zimbabwean talent to connect with broader audiences, expand their reach, and gain recognition regionally and internationally. The tour links music, fashion and culture, building a holistic creative experience,” Mpofu added.

GOH’s expansion is also a cultural export initiative, telling Zimbabwe’s story through sound, style and creativity. Each stop will showcase the country’s artistic wealth, from DJs’ beats to designers’ innovation, while creating opportunities for social impact.

“The tour generates employment, encourages entrepreneurship, and inspires the next generation of artistes. We also continue our commitment to giving back, supporting charitable causes such as orphanages and homeless shelters along the way,” she said.

Mpofu said the growth of GOH was inevitable as the movement matured.
“The GOH Tour is about growth, visibility and connection. It demonstrates that Zimbabwe is rich in talent, creativity and culture, and that our artistes, producers, DJs, and designers can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best globally.

“This is a passion-driven initiative, and we welcome partnerships with like-minded brands and individuals who share our vision of uplifting Zimbabwean talent and celebrating African creativity,” she said.
