LONDON. – A Supercomputer has predicted the World Cup outcome – and it does not end in glory for England.
The Three Lions reached the quarter-finals of the tournament in the early hours of Monday morning with a thrilling 3-2 win over co-hosts Mexico at the Azteca Stadium.
And a supercomputer from betting site British Gambler has predicted that England will clinch a 1-0 win on Saturday to reach the final four.
Thomas Tuchel and Co are then forecast to play Argentina in the semi-finals, but this is where it all falls apart for the Three Lions.
According to the supercomputer, the nation will suffer a 1-0 loss to the reigning world champions.
They will then lose 2-0 to Spain in the third-place play-off, with France the other team expected to reach the final.
Should that happen, it would be a repeat of the dramatic 2022 World Cup final which saw Argentina triumph on penalties following a 3-3 draw.
This time, Lionel Messi is predicted to lift the trophy again at the end of a 2-1 win at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
The supercomputer claims that France (2-0 win against Morocco), Spain (3-1 win against Belgium), England (1-0 win against Norway) and Argentina (2-1 win against Switzerland) will progress to the semi-finals. – SuperSport
