THE inconceivable underworld of Satanism is rearing its ugly head at Goko Primary School in Birchenough Bridge following the mysterious death of a learner who was reportedly a former member of a satanic cult.

The victim, who had quit the cult, allegedly died after a strange and short illness.

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has taken cognisance of the matter and launched an investigation.

A team was dispatched from Chipinge District to Goko Primary School to probe the allegations.

In recent years, Manicaland has witnessed a surge in reported cases of alleged Satanism in schools, affecting both urban and rural areas.

These incidents have sparked widespread concern among parents, educators, and the general public, prompting calls for increased vigilance and action to address the issue.

Manicaland Provincial Education Director (PED), Mr Richard Gabaza confirmed receiving notification on the incident, but had not been provided with further details at the time of going to print.

“Yes, I heard about that incident, but I do not have the finer details.

You can talk to the District Schools Inspector (DSI) of the area,” said Mr Gabaza.

When contacted for comment, Chipinge DSI, Mr Michael Chinyau said a delegation was dispatched to the school on Wednesday to gather concrete facts about the incident.

However, a voice note circulating on social media features a concerned woman briefing breadwinners based in South Africa about the alleged satanic activities at Goko Primary School.

“Things are not well here at Goko Primary School. We attended this school when it was still reputable. Times have changed.

“I am sending this message to hardworking fathers in South Africa who provide for their families back home. We never experienced child deaths linked to Satanism like what we are witnessing now.

“A child recently passed away after suffering a severe headache. The child had endured the headache for a while without sharing disturbing dreams with the mother. We later discovered that the child’s death was connected to the satanic activities at the school.

“We only became aware of this after the child’s burial. During the evening of the burial, the child’s spirit manifested in a classmate, revealing the satanic practices they were involved in.

“During the classmate’s spiritual seizure, she spoke of being initiated into Satanism, forced to drink blood, and conspiring to kill fellow learners and relatives. It is simply bizarre,” said the woman in the voice note.

The late learner’s classmate’s life is also reportedly under threat.

According to the woman, the classmate was taken by her family to Nyika area near Masvingo where she is receiving spiritual guidance.

“I am sharing this information because the late learner is a relative, and I am deeply troubled. As a believer in God, I want to expose these wrongdoings. I trust that God will protect me as I seek to uncover the truth about what is happening at the school,” the woman said, her identity remaining undisclosed in the audio recording.
