Hundreds of music lovers turned up at Belgravia Sports club for the Golden Pilsener Afro-Fusion music concert which took place on Saturday.Award winning South African musician DJ Tira and Bucie were the star performers who wowed the stage before local man of the moment Jah Prayzah closed off the concert.Ammara Brown had earlier on presented a great performance while warming up the stage for the main acts.

However, only a few people were there to witness her act .“Easy to love” hit-maker Bucie real name Busisiwe Nolubabalo Nqwiliso gave the audience what they came for with her hit song.

For Bucie, who is considered as one of the hottest South African R’n’B and house sing, this was her second concert in Zimbabwe after her last performance at Shoko Festival last year.

Born Mthokozisi Khathi, DJ Tira got the crowd on their feet dancing to hits such as “Umahamba Yedwa” and “Udaddy Onemali”.

Jah Prayzah did his best to improve his performance at Mafikizolo which was a disaster. He did songs such as “Soja Rinoenda Kure” and “Chinamira” from his previous albums and “Hossana” and “Mdhara Vachauya” from his latest album.

“This performance is better than last time but I still cannot say it has been his best since he released his album,” she said.

The concert ended soon after 1am which was a disappointment to merrymakers who are used to partying till sunrise.

Despite Jah Prayzah’s manager explaining that they were going to end their performance sooner than expected because the police had said so, the audience still showed their displeasure by dancing around the entrance and throwing beer in the air, calling for the continuation of the show.

Golden Pilsener is set to hold another afro-fusion music concert in Bulawayo this weekend which is going to feature Winky D, Dj Zinhle and Bucie.
