AWARD-WINNING rapper, Tinashe “Ti Gonzi” Chigagura, wants to be appreciated and accepted by gospel lovers.

He has released a gospel song titled ‘‘Ndiri Wenyasha,’’ featuring UK-based songstress, Nyaree Chanel.

In an interview with H-Metro, Ti Gonzi said he was ready to spread his wings.

“I hope to be accepted and appreciated by gospel lovers and, at the same time, grow my relationship with God,” he said

The versatile artist said the song was inspired by life experiences after he had a close shave with death.

“Nyaree contacted me because she said she was inspired by my experience that happened to me in 2019 when I escaped death by a whisker.

“I almost lost my life with that robbery that led to my serious head injury and I always felt that I should thank God for loving me.

“Nyaree Chanel had to fly from the UK for these visuals and we had a very good and inspirational week,” he said.

Ti Gonz said they did not face any challenges during the production.

“To be honest, we did not face any challenges during the audio production that was done by Oskid to the visuals that were shot and directed by Bulawayo-based Afri Art,” he said.

Ti Gonzi said he was working on a couple of songs and promised not to let his fans down.

“I am working on a couple of singles as well as four gospel tracks  and a collaborative EP with Nyaree Chanel.

“I have two projects that I am working on and one of them is a video that will be released soon.

“To all my fans, I will never let you down and I will keep on doing my best and improving my craft and be controversy-free,” he said.
