Good Samaritan bails out disabled chicken farmer

Paul Pindani in CHINHOYI

A MAN living with a disability recently got a shot in the arm when a Chinhoyi businessman donated chicken feed for his chicken rearing project.

Land developer, Kainos Gwazeni, donated chicken feed to Jonathan Bozho, who has been wheelchair-bound his whole life.

Gwazeni surprised Bozho by driving to his Rujeko home unannounced and offloading bags of chicken feed for his project.

“I am at a loss for words. I never expected such a visit.

“We spoke once, but I never thought help would come this soon,” said Bozho.

He said a number of people have previously promised to help him, but nothing materialised.

“I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“You are a man of your words. I wish we could have more people like you who have people at heart,” he said.

Gwazeni said he was touched by Bozho’s plight when he heard that he had a chicken rearing project, but was facing financial difficulties in running it.

“I took it upon myself to help him so that his project doesn’t collapse,” said Gwazeni.

He encouraged residents to support Bozho in his project by buying chickens from him.
