UPCOMING gospel artist, Leonard “Lenny Ky” Kafura, is itching for recognition after recording over 200 songs, which are yet to be released.
The 26-year-old’s music is motivated by a desire to spread love to people.
Lenny Ky recently did several gospel collaborations with Silent Killer, Hwinza, Hwindi President and Ndunge Yut.
“I ventured into music in 2013. I have more than 200 songs which are yet to be released.
“Recently, I did collaborations with Silent Killer, on the song Daidzai Jesu, Hwinza — Kurima Nenzara) Hwindi President — Mwari Makanaka and Ndiri Kuda with Ndunge Yut.
“I believe that my voice can make a difference in people’s lives considering that my lyrics are very influential and relatable,” he said.
Lenny Ky said it all started with him singing in church with his cousin, Links Man Dictator, and it laid the foundation for the rest of their lives.
“Growing up, music was something my cousin Links Man Dictator and I appreciated, we sang at praise and worship in church.
“My brother then decided to pursue Zim dancehall,” he said.
