MUTARE-BASED gospel musician, Caroline Chidzikwe, says she is out to preach the message of hope in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic through song.

The talented diva, who is riding high with her latest offering, ‘Zita Renyu Jesu’, said music has the power to heal and mend broken souls reeling from the devastating effects of coronavirus.

She welcomed the reopening of churches, where only those fully vaccinated with both doses are allowed to attend sit-in services.

“As we continue living with this new normal, we need to stay in prayer and keep the faith because all this shall come to pass. The will of the Lord does not take us where his grace cannot find us.

“We have not stopped making music with my band The Throne Worshippers as the souls of believers need to be nourished in these difficult times,” said Chidzikwe.

Chidzikwe urged people to continue taking up inoculation for Covid-19 as a safe and proven way of protecting themselves.

She said it is important for people to continue observing the recommended health guidelines without dropping guard as the disease’s danger is still lurking.
