Mathew Chishumba, a gospel musician known as Devotion C, has released a new single titled “Zimbabwe Will Arise and Shine” aimed at bolstering national pride among Zimbabweans.

This latest release follows his previous double single launch featuring the tracks “Questions in My Heart” and “Fear Not”. Devotion C expressed a strong belief in Zimbabwe’s potential, envisioning the country as a progressive leader by 2030.

“The song is meant to inspire hope and affirm that God is in control; it’s my prayer that Zimbabwe will indeed rise and shine,” said Devotion C.

“Interestingly, the release coincides with the introduction of a new currency in Zimbabwe, though I had recorded the song between January and February. I hope it will help restore people’s love for our beautiful nation.”

Devotion C is also working on a worship song titled “Moya Oyingcwele” inspired by Acts 1:8. The new track is set to be released in July. – @mthabisi_mthire
