Proceeds from the DVD live recording will be used to buy text books for his childhood primary school Zidulini Primary, which is in Nkayi district.
In an interview yesterday, Ndlovu said his music was inspired by the bible and life experiences.
He said the album was a fusion of traditional African sounds and contemporary music.
“I felt that the album was supposed to have a traditional African feel to it. I believe that gospel music should be sang in the old fashioned way and I wanted to bring that back,” said Ndlovu.
He said he worked with a 13-member group on his live recording.
Ndlovu said he decided to do a live recording because it would be more appealing to fans than a CD and in November he would do another live recording.
