GOVERNMENT has assisted families of the seven people who died in a road accident near Hauna Growth Point in Honde Valley on Sunday evening with coffins and transport.

While consoling the families, Mutasa North House of Assembly member Honourable Chido Madiwa said Government, through the Civil Protection Unit, had provided the assistance to lessen the burden of funeral costs on the bereaved families.

She said the loss of the seven lives was not to the grieving families, the Honde Valley community and Manicland Province only, but the nation at large; hence Government’s helping hand.

The victims’ families expressed gratitude to Government for the assistance they received.
