Govt reshuffles MMCZ board

Nompelelo Meyolla Abu Basuthu and two board members, Mr Godwills Masimirembwa and Mrs Nonhlanhla Ndlovu.
It also dropped Mr Obey Chimuka from the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation board.

Mr Masimirembwa, who used to sit in the MMCZ board, remains chairman of the ZMDC.
Sources told the Herald last night that Mr Masimi-rembwa was removed from the MMCZ board for him to focus on the ZMDC.

Government is expected to announce the new MMCZ board chairperson soon.
The MMCZ had 10 board members.
Mines and Mining Development Minister Obert Mpofu would not comment yesterday.
