Regional magistrate Ms Sandra Mupindu had advised the old man to come the following day with his 11-year-old grandson for sentencing.
This did not go down well with the old man who unzipped his trousers and showed the gallery his operation.
He argued that he could not continue coming to court all the way from Magunje. This forced the magistrate to pass the sentence.
The boy and his co-accused aged 14 were eventually sentenced to receive corporal punishment of three strokes each for taking turns to rape an 11-year-old girl.
Circumstances were that on November 5 last year and at around 3pm, in Beatrice, the minor was on her way home coming from a church service when the pair intercepted her.
