Grayham exude confidence

ZIFA Eastern Region Division One side Grayham director, Gray Hama, is confident his side will cause some upsets in the league.

The season starts on April 6.

Hama, whose side will battle the likes of Tenax, Surrey Abattoirs, Mutare City Rovers and Buffaloes, has assembled a strong team. “We are a modest side which is in the league to compete and, in our first year, we will be looking forward to finish in a respectable position, a top 10 will not be bad for us. “I have always liked football and I thought I could have a team in a competitive league having spent some time in Division Two.

‘’There are some good players at the club and the coach has since recruited players from across the country.

“At first, we were focusing on the community players but as we are now in a more competitive and established league and we are now taking in some experienced players who have seen it in Division One League.’’
