Green light for Mutasa, Musona

Sports Reporter
THE duo of Wisdom Mutasa and Walter Musona were cleared by FC Platinum and can now move on with their careers by choosing a club of their choice when the transfer window opens in January.

This follows their meeting with Aces Youth Soccer Academy director Nigel Munyati yesterday. Whawha coach Lloyd Mutasa, who is Walter’s father, also attended the meeting. The duo quit their Slovakia club, SK Senec, earlier this month, leaving their careers in limbo.

“The players met with Mr Munyati and they said their side of the story while he also gave his side of the story,” said Lloyd Mutasa.

“Aces were not amused with the players’ conduct when they returned from Slovakia as they did not report to the club, but all that was ironed out in the meeting and everything is now going according to plan.

“They agreed in principle that whoever is interested in them should contact Aces Academy.

“The first week of January, when the window opens, they will be eligible to play and go to any club of their choice.”

Mutasa said he understand the contracts the duo had with the Slovak club were terminated.

Last night, Munyati was not answering his mobile phone.
