Abuse of power!
A security guard has been arrested for allegedly using his seniority to force a subordinate into having anal sex with him.
A source said Mulingo Gwera (47) who is employed as a supervisor for a security company headquartered in Bulawayo arrived at the company premises from Plumtree where he had gone to collect company goods.
The source said Gwera asked his subordinate who cannot be named for ethical reasons to assist him in offloading goods from a vehicle.
While they were offloading Gwera who seemed to have been attracted to his subordinate’s “behind” allegedly grabbed his subordinate and dragged him to the toilet.
He reportedly threatened to terminate his contract if he objected to his demand.
“He ordered him to remove his trousers and underwear.
“The (victim) had no choice but to remove his trousers and underwear then Mulingo sodomised him,” said a source who is a security guard at the company.
The source added: “When he was buggerising him for the second time Mulingo was caught by a female subordinate who in shock rushed to the office where he quickly reported the matter,” said a source.
The source said the victim’s superiors advised him to make a report at Bulawayo Central Police Station leading to Mulingo’s arrest.
Contacted for a comment Bulawayo deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele confirmed the incident: “We have arrested a man who committed indecent assault by forcing his subordinate to have anal sex with him.”
