Gumbura will help us: Yabo

ZIFA Central Region Division One side Zvishavane Stars believe they have a point to prove when they engage neighbours FC Platinum Under-19 at Mandava tomorrow.
The team, which joined the league at the beginning of this season, have promised to give their opponents a good run.
Zvishavane Stars secretary Marembo Chikerema said they were giving players who were not given an opportunity to prove themselves a chance.

“Our team has several young talented players who were not given a chance to shine and they will have a point to prove when we play against FC Platinum Under-19,” said Chikerema.

“The players know each other better as they have played together at some point since most of our players either have played for Shabanie Mine or FC Platinum.

“The team is looking forward to a win as our intention is to fight for the Premier League ticket.
“We have good players like midfielder Kelvin Gumbura, who has experience. I think Gumbura will help us a lot.”

Zvishavane Stars suffered a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Hwahwa and are under pressure to collect maximum points in the Zvishavane Derby.
FC Platinum managed a 0-0 draw with Tongogara, who are now back on top after they were awarded points from their abandoned match against Gaths Mine
