GUNNERS defeated Herentals in a ZIFA Northern Region Division One match at the National Stadium B-Arena yesterday.

Twice Gunners’ Munyaradzi Kunyarimwe was denied by the upright in the opening 15 minutes. However, Gunners found the back of the net in the 41st minute when Jonathan Chitereki pounced during a melee. Four minutes after the breather, Patrick Makuvaza doubled his side’s lead after his effort from outside the box gave goalkeeper Frank Kuchineyi no chance.
