The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education expects to complete the validation of the Inclusive Education draft policy soon before it is submitted to Cabinet for approval.

This was said by the Deputy Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Edgar Moyo when he appeared before the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Primary and Secondary Education Thursday.

Deputy Minister Moyo said they were already consulting stakeholders for their input before the draft is submitted for approval.

The policy would provide mechanisms to ensure the rights and welfare of children with disabilities in the education sector.
